“I was privileged to accept this community recognition on behalf of our dedicated cybersecurity team, our IT and OT colleagues, our leadership, our trusted cyber suppliers, and, of course, our colleagues on and around our trains—our human firewall,” said Dimitri van Zantvliet, Cyber Director & CISO at Dutch Railways.

The award recognizes rail companies that are leading in digital transformation initiatives while prioritizing cybersecurity operations. In addition, they must navigate the evolution of railway technology from legacy systems to cloud and AI. They must also be able to cope with cybersecurity challenges in modernizing rail operations. And finally, they must demonstrate industry thought leadership at the intersection of technology and cybersecurity.
